Cyber Girlfriend! Even better than the real thing?

The Beeb has a story about a new cyber
girlfriend. I’m not talking about that
50 year old guy you "cyber" with on IM with that pretends he’s an 18 year old
chick, but a new product from Hong Kong based Artificial
Life.
This cyber girlfriend is in fact a game that runs on 3G mobile phones and
is similar in many ways to the tamagotchi virtual pets (remember those?).
The animated female lives on your mobile phone and your supposed to interact
and care for her by sending her text messages and buying her presents. The
only problem is that she is in fact a gold digging "bitch" as she requires
much more present buying that a real woman "love interest" would, and that
all these presents and text messages to your virtual "bit of stuff" cost real
money.
If you don’t "show her the money" she won’t speak to you, and worst of all
(for those of you that become enamoured with your virtual vixen), she will
never go to the "next level" with you. So no virtual nookie for you.
So, just to summarise, spend money on a getting a virtual girlfriend, that
will cause you to spend lots of money to stay in a her
good books. She’ll ignore you if you don’t spend enough money and will never
put out. Sounds just like real life then!
