Microsoft "Plays for sure"
Microsoft if to launch a new branding campaign with what can only be described
as the stupidest slogan of all time, "Plays for sure".
In a big to increase brand awareness, and customers awareness of products
and software that are compatible with Windows Media. This attempt to reach
the branding level that was created by Intel’s "Intel Inside" is squarely aimed
at Apple and Sony who tie their music devices to certain format types.
To qualify for the “Plays for sure” mark, a company will have to be certified
that its products were compatible with other products using the logo.
This news comes hot on the heals that Microsoft is soon to release it’s own
version of "iTunes" online as well as the release of Windows Media 10 next
week.
