WOW WTF?

Okay, folks maybe you WOW gamers out there can help me with this one!

I’ve been around the support forums tonight and was unable to find a clear answer as to whether or not I need to purchase a second set of WOW and Burning Crusade CD’s in order to have a second account here in my home.

What I want to do is to be able to play online at the same time as Ex, so we would be gaming side by side. I know that I will have to pay a second set of monthly fees, and have absolutely no problem with that. After all, you have to pay for every account!

But I’ll be a rats uncle before I’m going to pay for the two sets of discs again. I mean they’ll already be getting double the monthly fee from me.

Technical/Billing support won’t have their phone lines open until after 10am tomorrow, so I was hoping one of my fellow gamers could shed some light on this in the morning.

To be honest, there’s no way I’m going to pay just to have a second set of installation media when I’m paying for the service by month. So if that is the case Blizzard are going to loose the potential extra money from me.

That’s what we did to get our two WoW accounts going. Two sets of discs for both WoW and Burning Crusade. Bought one of the Collector’s Edition Burning Crusade and the other one was just the standard Burning Crusade.

Ah, I was afraid you’d say that! I just don’t see why they can’t have the option to add a second account to your existing authentication key.

It sucks! It’s like when you get satellite TV. You pay for the dish, but you don’t need to have a new separate dish for every room you want TV in. Juts a separate decode card for paid channels.
