WordPress OpenID server?

Okay you can now use OpenID to authenticate yourself when you comment on this blog and that’s cool, but.. .there’s always a but.

I want to have my domain or more specifically my blog act as an OpenID server for myself. I’ve spent the last 10 minutes Googling this and haven’t come up with much that fits the bill.

I did find a page on the OpenID wiki which lists various servers but  I want to do this without installing a lot of stuff on my server.

What I envision is a WordPress plugin that just works, much like the PyBlosxom OpenID plugin for PyBlosxom blogs.

I know WordPress.com has an OpenID server but I can’t find anything about an implementation for standalone WordPress installations.

Is there an plugin out there already that will act as an identity server?

The easiest way to become your own provider is using http://siege.org/projects/phpMyID/

Of course you can also use your own domain as your url without needing to become a provider, using delegation. (http://www.windley.com/archives/2007/02/using_openid_delegation.shtml)
