Dave said something really great on Twitter a few days ago which has really been true for me the last few days.
To this day, people react to what they think you said, and when you point out that’s not what you said, they ignore that too.
My god, that’s SO right
I have a tendency to seem abrupt, condescending or even bitchy when I am explaining things. This is not something I am consciously doing, but none the less this sometimes sets a tone to a reply that I never intended. Then people up and decide I was being hateful, overbearing, Napoleonistic, egotistical and rude, and no matter how hard I try, I will never be able to clean that proverbial turd out of my proverbial punch bowl :S
