Feuling Chicago Bloggers
Nudity, lesbian displays, women in mens underwear, alcohol and a pool tournament!
No, I’ve not been drinking again, I’m talking about the Fuelmyblog meetup in O’Callaghans last night which was a pure blast.
It was great to see so many cool bloggers in one place just hanging out and having fun and doing what bloggers do best…
I want to thank everybody that attended our little shindig last night and look forward to meeting many of you again tonight at SOBCon.
Some of the cool people who waged mortal combat over the pool table last night included:
- Ruth Marie Sylte (I never thought I’d travel to Chicago to speak Norwegian)
- Vicky H
- Joanna Young
- Liz Strauss
- Terry Starbucker
- Joe Hauckes
- Scot Duke (Thanks for your help mate and have a GJ for me!)
- Colleen Wainwright
- Jennifer and Randy Gniadecki (It wasn’t me – and I hope you enjoyed the wine)
- Ryan Rasmussen (Hope you remembered to blame me for getting back late last night and that the wine eased your wifes wrath a little)
- Chris Garrett
- Michael Martine
- Mark Fusco
- Derek Semmler
- Wendy Piersall (Flash them tats)
- Lorelle Van Fossen (Receive any more underwear in the mail?)
I am dying to get some pictures posted but they may have to wait until I get my hands on a smart media card reader.
In the meantime Lorrelle posted some pictures from last night which you can check out.
Oh, I can’t write a post about last night without giving a special mention to Sara from Suburban Oblivion. Thank you for all your hard work Sara, without your effort last night wouldn’t have been half a successful.
Let’s just be clear that ‘tats’ is TATTOOS and not any other tiny word that starts and ends with ‘t’.
Here’s a few more photos from last night!

Hey Paul, it was great to meet you and all the others at the meetup. Thanks to all of you for coordinating the night.
Please… no photos!
Thanks for great hospitality Paul
Joanna
Last night was *so* much fun, and you were an amazing host.
I’m glad Wendy cleared the “tats” issue up, because I found myself wondering when she went all Girls Gone Wild style…and how had I missed it?
Hope you enjoy the rest of the convention, and thank you for the list and the links – I was able to easily cut and paste that part onto my own blog to tell everyone who I had a chance to meet.
I’m so glad I had a chance to meet you, as well as everyone else. It was a fantastic party!
Sounds like a lot of fun!!!!
I overheard someone say that the Pool Tournament you organized will now be a annual event with ESPN Sports coverage…or was that the JD just now kicking in..either way, it was a way cool thing to do. Good to meet other bloggers.
You weren’t supposed to SHARE that, but clever angle. It was so much fun. Thanks for your participation and all the fun all weekend. What an amazing conference!
The first sentence of this post sure is an attention-getter! Sounds like you all had a great time meeting each other and hanging out. It’s cool that you all got together.
Search referrels might haunt you for years for that one!
It was great to meet you. And, if I didn’t mention it later on during the conference, thanks for the peer persuasion! You supplied exactly what I needed – a scapegoat at 5,900km
Thanks again for the great event. I hope you make it to Chicago again soon.
Thanks guys (and gals
) it was great to meet you all and I can’t wait to do it again sometime soon
