Abandoned or parked? Male or female driver?

I took this picture from one of the first floor windows at work yesterday. Your looking down at the very busy main road running along the front of Cobh. My question to you, dear readers, is do you think this car is parked or abandoned, and was it a male or female driver?

I have definite opinions at to the gender, but fear or reprisals prevents me from saying wimmen drivers! Aren’t they on the wrong side of the road, too? (not here in America, but we drive funny anyway!) That would indicate either abandoned or drunken!

  2. Paul says:

@STEPcoach Nope, they’re not on the wrong side of the road as there is only parking on this side in front of our building (double yellows on the other side).

As for it it was one of those “wimmen” drivers, I’ll update the post later and let everyone know. For know, I just want to keep ya’ll guessing!

  3. Drunken man is a REALLY good guess IMO, but I’ll be nice and throw out the possibility that maybe the car broke down, and the driver was unable (or too drunk) to move it.

  4. Well, you’ve labelled the photo ‘abandoned’ …… or is this a double bluff!!!!?! Mmmmmmmmmm ……… it’s got a ‘I’ve a tiny penis’ spoiler on the back but that could apply to either sex …… could be the watercooler man in a rush or the police who had to rush in to arrest a suspicious looking man taking photographs from the 1st floor ….. dunno, I give up ….

  5. Paul says:

@Daddy Papersurfer Ah, but I also labeled it “parking” ;)

  6. That car isn’t parked – it simply stopped in the road.

Crap parking is all the rage these days but an easy target.

How about this for a crap car park – video of advanced car parking technology in action at the shiney new Princesshay development in Exeter – a man with a cone…

Okay, to satisfy your curiosity, it was a MAN driving the car and he parked it (although I’d say abandoned) there while he ran into the chemist.

Maybe he needed ointment for his genital herpes really bad and couldn’t wait to park properly? :P
