I spotted these while making a run to Walmart with Sara a while back and still can’t quite wrap my head around the idea. I mean under what circumstances would I ever want just one potato and worse, why I would want to spend over a $1 (tax included) per spud?

Uh……you’re a bit of a dim person and see the word microwavable and think easy lunch possibly.
There is one place these would make sense. On the counter of convience store. If people with limited income (or any kncome for taht matter)started eating potatoes instead of meat they would drastically improve their health. check out the peruvians that eat their traditional diet based on potatoes. You can also google potato diet, or potato based diet study for more examples.

You do realize that you can just put a potatoe in the microwave without the wrapper on it, don’t you??? What a ridiculous invention. It is such a waste of resources…wasting fossil fuels to make the plastice to wrap around a potatoe. If you want just one potatoe..just buy one. WITHOUT the wrapper.
