I came across this video while reading about the performance impact of earthquakes on hard drives and websites. Yes, I am that boring.
What you will see in the video below applies to you folks at home too and especially to angry gamers.
If you really want to eek every bit of performance out of your gaming rig (especially if you’ve got a surround sound system with serious bass and you like to crank things up) then you really need to start using anti-vibration grommets when securing your hard drives.
Better yet, switch to solid state drives ![]()
