Unable to influence the outcome, I paid absolutely no attention to the fretting and hand wringing of Americans caught up in the “us or them” mentality that was the Presidential election.
I guess it’s one of the few joys and perhaps downfalls of my status as a permanent legal resident – I cannot vote (yet) and therefore have little reason to get personally invested in the outcome of the nations largest popularity and marketing contest.
Instead I spent last night worrying about what really mattered – Halo 4. Or to be more precise, the fact that I couldn’t play Halo 4 because my pre-ordered disk was faulty.
That, unlike the sorry state of American politics, political coverage and voter awareness, will be sorted later today…
