How You Know You’ve Married A Geek

I knew I married a geek right from the start and anybody who didn’t realize that found out when listening to our wedding vows. Yet there are times when I forget how much of a geek my beautiful wife really is, mostly because I’m way more geeky than she is so Sara’s forays into geekiness are pale in comparison.

It’s moments like this morning when we’re just getting out of bed, I’m humming aimlessly to myself and Sara asks me to play Jonathan Coulton‘s “Code Monkey” to start the day, that I realize this woman knows that Han Solo was not in Star Trek.

I love my geeky wife šŸ˜‰

  1. That’s totally awesome! When Gabe and I first met he knew I was a geek. He was a “surfer dude” and didn’t find his inner geek until later. Anyone that thinks Han Solo is from Star Trek needs to be beat with one of the hard, plastic toy lightsabers. Those things hurt!
